Our Community

The congregation of St. Peter Lutheran church worships in a rural community. We are known as “the country church” by other congregations and people of the local area. Our congregation consists of multi-generational agricultural (farming), white and blue-collar families spanning multiple generations. No matter the background or station in life of each member, we come together as sisters and brothers in Christ, recognizing that we are all sinners saved by grace through faith; and, in the sight of God are equally valuable.

As St. Paul describes for us in his letter to the Corinthian church, we are all members of the same body, yet we all have differing functions. This is what makes being a part of a loving congregation so wonderful.

Whether you are new to Christianity, a seasoned saint looking for a church home or one who has been wandering for years, you are welcome in the St. Peter Congregation.
